Cavalcade Tour Videos

Here are some videos of The Flatliners on tour for their new album "Cavalcade" with their friends Broadway Calls and Cobra Skulls.

Filmed on location at The Media Club in Vancouver on April 9 and at the GLC in Whistler on April 10. Filmed and edited by Alex Beare.

The Flatliners, Broadway Calls and Cobra Skulls @ GLC

After a 5 hour sleep, me and Bearzy drove to Whistler to enjoy some sunny park laps in the Terrain Garden and Whis Park. We were exhausted and still had the show to go to at night. We tried to nap, very unsuccessfully I might add (damn Internet), then headed to the Garibaldi Lift Co (GLC) to get set up for the show.

We got there in time to see The Flatliners finish sound check and chat for a few minutes with Michael from CIA Concerts.

The doors opened and in came the out-crowd. A bunch of our friends were in attendance including FT web designer Robb and a very drunk Kenny. Fun times!

"Man, I've never had so much cocaine in my life!" is what I heard as I walked past Adam of Cobra Skulls only to later learn from Matt of Broadway Calls that Americans refer to Kokanee beer as "Ko-Kane".

And now photos from the show:

Cobra Skulls

Broadway Calls - Ty damaged his voal chords the day before so Matt took on most of the singing duties

The Flatliners

Chris hooked us up with the new Flatliners album call "Cavalcade". I've been listening to it non-stop since that night.

The Flatliners, Broadway Calls, Cobra Skulls and Party At The Moontower @ The Media Club

This was the first stop in Canada on The Flatliners' tour for their new album "Cavalcade". Buy it here!

Thanks to Lanny from The Media Club, Malice from Live It Productions and Kreeft from Underground Operations Booking Agency for hooking us up with passes.

Party At The Moontower - Local Vancouver band that will be playing in Whistler next week

Cobra Skulls - I was pleasantly surprised by these guys!

Broadway Calls - Chase and Shayne from Living With Lions were singing along with their bros!

As I was walking to the car to discard some camera gear before The Flatliners' set, I ran into this guy in the red Fat Wreck shirt.

Red Shirt: "If you had to spend the rest of your life with a traditional mermaid or a reverse mermaid (with a human lower body and fish upper body) which would you choose?"

Me: "A traditional mermaid. I'm a tit man, plus you can still fuck a mouth."

Zing! Back to the show!

The Flatliners - One of my favourite bands. It's always fun to see them live.

We headed back to Bearzy's at 2am with to catch a few hours sleep before heading to Whistler to get in an early morning shred, then catch the Whistler show at the GLC. Woo!
