PYP Presents "Too Much Fun"

PYP presents their full-length video titled, "Too Much Fun". No hate, just love between skiers and snowboarders.

What A Life Premiere @ Garf's

Wow. What a night! Fun times with good people. Thanks to everyone for coming out to watch the movie and party! Also, a big thanks goes out to Llama, Haunted Zoo, Organic Snowboards, Vivo Headwear, Garf's, and Slash Magazine for their support. RIP Tree. Most photos by Jesse Nelson.

Kadenwood

Everyone has a special pre season spot. Sometimes it's out behind your local ice rink, or even your buddy's skate-rail set up in the grass by the lake. It's all about making do with a small amount of snow, because once that fluffy goodness starts falling, our urge to shred multiplies by a million.

Speaking of which, the snow has definitley hit here in Whis, and it shows no signs of slowing down. The funny thing about living in a town like this, is that literally everyone thinks the same way when it starts snowing. That being said, you'll always have your homies to ride with on any given day. With this fact in mind, I headed up to Kadenwood alone looking for a fun time. Kadenwood is one of the highest vehicle-accessed sub-divisions in town, and has more snow than all of the valley considering its high elevation. What makes it so popular are the many jibs and features in the few construction sites at the top. This is the place to go if you wanna ride before the hill opens.

Pat King was there; totally gettin' the shot.

Tons of people were filming, so you should expect some real nice edits coming your way courtesy of Nick Roy and Pat King.

So I reached the top and found just as expected; an endless stream of cars parked on the side of the road. Now these weren't Kadenwood residents. Every single one of these trucks had shred stickers on all the windows. I knew I had arrived in the heat of the session. Once I reached the main area, I was greeted by a ton of my buddies. The set up was actually really sick! There was a sweet double PVC flat rail, a down rail, two corrugated tubes, a few shopping carts, and even a couch. The creativity was flowing and good vibes were in the air. Another usual Kadenwood adventure for eager snowboarders in Whistler!
