The Flatliners, Broadway Calls and Cobra Skulls @ GLC

After a 5 hour sleep, me and Bearzy drove to Whistler to enjoy some sunny park laps in the Terrain Garden and Whis Park. We were exhausted and still had the show to go to at night. We tried to nap, very unsuccessfully I might add (damn Internet), then headed to the Garibaldi Lift Co (GLC) to get set up for the show.

We got there in time to see The Flatliners finish sound check and chat for a few minutes with Michael from CIA Concerts.

The doors opened and in came the out-crowd. A bunch of our friends were in attendance including FT web designer Robb and a very drunk Kenny. Fun times!

"Man, I've never had so much cocaine in my life!" is what I heard as I walked past Adam of Cobra Skulls only to later learn from Matt of Broadway Calls that Americans refer to Kokanee beer as "Ko-Kane".

And now photos from the show:

Broadway Calls - Ty damaged his voal chords the day before so Matt took on most of the singing duties

The Flatliners

Chris hooked us up with the new Flatliners album call "Cavalcade". I've been listening to it non-stop since that night.
