Bedouin Soundclash @ Village Square 2010 Olympics

This was a special concert for many reasons. In 2006, Bedouin Soundclash was headlining the first concert I'd shot professional photos at, "When The Night Feels My Song" was used in a short skate video that I starred in that Ryan filmed in college, there was a cameo by K-OS, and Canada won their first gold medal at the 2010 Olympics during their set.

Jewish reggae artist Matisyahu rocked the stage opening to a large crowd in the Village Square.

Great Lake Swimmers don't have the greatest stage presence but their sound will soothe your soul and put you in a trance.

I was excited to learn that Elliott Brood was set to open the 2010 Winter Olympic free concert series. There were no pots and pans this time around but it was great to see the crowd stick it out through the rain.

Goodbye Beatdown @ GLC

Bearzy has been shooting video with Goodbye Beatdown for a few months and turned me onto them. I never would have guessed that this was Royce's second show playing guitar for the band. These guys are going places...One place is the FT Music Player (whenever I get around to updating it!)
